Our aim is to provide adequate and first-hand information about every important legal happening in India and around the world. We publish articles, blogs, Law reviews, case reviews, and much more legal information.
About the competition:
LawSphere, presents “THE WRITING WALL”. We bring this event for you to enhance and add to your existing knowledge of law subjects. Every article submitted in the competition is guaranteed to be published on our website. We expect to make it an enjoyable and enriching experience for all.
Students/Research Scholars enrolled in any UG/PG/Ph.D. course, Academicians associated with any educational institution (University/College), Professionals across various fields practicing in India.
Guidelines regarding the competition:
Themes will be provided from which writers are supposed to choose
and write an article on the same.
Only Single authorship is allowed in the competition. No co-authorship is allowed.
Every guideline regarding the submission of the article is to be followed.
If found otherwise might lead to cancellation of registration.
Dates regarding the registration and payment are to be duly noted.
No late registrations or late submissions will be taken into consideration.
Awards and Certificates:
E-certificates of participation will be provided to all the participants who make a valid submission in line with the Submission Guidelines mentioned herein.
An E-certificate of publication will also be provided to all those whose articles get published.
Every article submitted is supposed to be published on our website. If any article is found to be lacking behind in meeting our guidelines, the author will be provided with one more chance to edit the same.
Once the edited work again lacks to meet our guidelines, half of the registration amount will be returned to the author.

The submission should be an original work of the author and not under the consideration for publication in any journal, blog, or platform.
TITLE: – Center align + Bold + Underlined + Text size 14 + Times new roman font.
BODY: – Justified + Text size 12 + Times new roman font + 1.5 line spacing.
CITATION: – Blue Book 20th edition.
PLAGIARISM: – Up to 20% allowed.
The inclusion of 4-5 keywords is necessary.
The language of the submission must be English.
All entries must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
Relevant sources must be duly acknowledged and hyperlinked in the text of the submission itself.
The Word Limit should be 1500-4000 words.
The authors have to attach a relevant photograph regarding the subject matter of the article so that a photographic preview in the blog – post and social media updates can be uploaded.
The authors are supposed to send in the author’s bio in not more than 50-60 words with the article for the purpose of publication.

Your articles will be assessed on the following points. You should meet the following criteria to get your article qualified for publication-
The article should meet professional standards and be of publishable quality.
Any plagiarism of more than 20% will make the article non-publishable on the LawSphere blog and thus, they would be rejected.
The content shouldn’t be too complex/technical for a reader. The concepts and case laws covered in the content should be easily understandable and mentioned in the simplest yet grammatically correct form.
Content should not be ambiguous or should not have multiple meanings.
It should be detailed and exhaustive. Answer all the questions that may come to one’s mind regarding the topic. However, do not deviate and write irrelevant things to make up the word count. Content needs to be genuine and strictly relevant.
All the information written in the article should be accurate. Relevant sections referred to must be mentioned everywhere and the cases must have citations. If this criterion is not met, we cannot select your article.
You have to be straight to the point and precise. No beating around the bush and information should not be repetitive.
The idea should be communicated clearly and distinctly. Inconsistent technical terms should not be used in the document.
Acronyms used in the articles should be explained.
Well-structured articles will attract more points. Important points should be properly highlighted, and the paragraphs should have proper headings and subheadings. More headings and subheadings and bullet points you put, the better chance of winning.
You should avoid over-exaggeration or over-explanation of concepts.
The article should be in a proper flow. Paragraphs/ sentences/ headings/ sub-headings (select as appropriate) should be connectwith the previous and subsequent paragraph/ sentence/ heading/ sub-heading (select as appropriate).
Sentences and bullet points should be complete sentences.
All the judgments or statutory instruments should be hyperlinked. Non-functional/ not updated to the latest amendment links should not be inserted.
