:- My name is Rabins Alka, I am Civil Judge junior division, Balrampur. I have completed my 12th from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bahraich in 2012 and completed my LLB from lucknow university in 2018.
What made you choose judiciary as a career option?
:- My father is an advocate and he wanted that his child becomes a judge and so ultimately it become my dream to fulfil his dream.
What’s the pattern of the UP judicial service examination?
:- UP judicial services is held in three stages- pre, mains and interview.
What was your overall strategy for UP judicial prelims?
:- For pre all section’s heading and important points of each important section should be read thoroughly and also all important cases relating to sections should be prepared.
What was your overall strategy for UP judicial mains exam?
:- For mains, writing pattern is most important and each and every part of each subject is not important you only need to learn some portion and that portion can be easily drawn by solving previous years papers.
How did you prepare for the UP judicial service examination Interview?
:- For interview revision of pre mains material is enough but the one thing that matters the most is your confidence so, work on it.
Please share your book list for all the subjects/part (prelims and mains) for the UP judicial exam.
:- For preparation, I didn’t read any special books I only learn all the bare acts some basic books like JN Pandey, SN Mishra, Takwani, Kelkar, etc. but for cases and other material I specially read it from notes given by T.R. Singh sir.
For how long did you prepare and how many hours did you put in?
:- I have prepared for judiciary approx. 6-8 months and in this time I think I studied 10- 12 hours per day.
Did you take coaching from any where for your UP judiciary exam preparation?
:- I had joined Prabuddha coaching institute for preparation.
how was your UP judiciary Interview and what set of questions were asked?
:- In interview they asked very simple question like what is difference between murder and culpable homicide, what do you understand by may presume and shall presume, law minister of UP ,law minister of India, CJI etc. Means they check your confidence to face different questions different people that’s all.
Anything else you would like to tell our readers who preparing for the UP judicial service examination.
:- I want to say one thing to all aspirants that for success you need to believe in yourself that you can do anything what you want and to bring that believe in yourself you need to study hard for your own satisfaction. I believe that a person who works until he himself satisfied by his work that yes that’s all needed for today and I don’t waste my day, it means he is going in right direction because if you are serious about your future your carrier, you should always remember that you can lie to everyone but you cannot fool yourself.
